The Central Sierra Nevada, in California, is a wonderful place to explore and see the creation in its prestine beauty.

The photos were taken near HWY 120, HWY 108, HWY 140 and HWY 1.
When visiting Yosemite National Park, make sure you stop at the Ahwahnee Hotel and take advantage of the 5-STAR Ahwahnee Dining Room. The Tuolumne Meadows Lodge (tent cabins) also has a dining room.




Many of the sites pictured here are 10,000' or higher and springtime at this elevation is typically in late August with numerous wild flowers and grasses that grow in profusion.
