Total Disrespect

      The Congressional Black Caucus walked out of congress on Thursday, June 28, 2012 to show their solidarity for Attorney General Eric Holder while there was a vote to hold him in "contempt of congress". He lied to congress, Darrell Issa and the committee on oversight and government reform (congressional oversight committee) when asked about the "Fast & Furious" gun running scheme where the DOJ was caught giving guns to Mexican drug cartels.

      One of the those guns was used to kill Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry, by Mexican drug lords while Terry was protecting the US Southern Border from drug smugglers. Brian Terry's parents would like to know the truth about their son's death and Eric Holder will not say a word.

      There has been rumor that American guns in the hands of Mexican drug lords was to be a "siren call" for stricter gun laws in the US and even outlawing some types of guns, until the DOJ gun running operation had a big bright light on it. Now, all the participants are claiming "executive privilege" to cover-up their lawless behavior and being the total screw-ups they really are.

      The Congressional Oversight Committee has spent 15 months trying to get information about the "Fast & Furious" gun running debacle and all that Holder is willing to do is give the committee "highly redacted" documents where some are completely 'blanked out' and no words visible. Holder's delay tactic has put him in contempt of congress, as well as his lying to Representative Issa and the committee over which he presides.

      Now, President Barack Obama steps in to protect Attorney General Holder. When the temperature was turned-up on Holder, it was Obama to the rescue. He told Representative Issa and the entire congress that "executive privilege" prevents Holder from releasing the documents that Issa requested for 15 months. Excuse me, what does 'executive privilege' have to do with Holder lying to congress? Obama must also be involved with F&F for him to declare executive privilege.

      Both Barack Obama and Eric Holder are now involved with the gun running give-away to Mexican drug cartels and the murder of Brian Terry. Neither will address the questions of Terry's parents, but now they will 'shield' themselves with the veil of 'executive privilege' and hope this congressional inquisition will blow over and nobody will be the wiser in the US.

      Now back to the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) - They walked out of the vote when Holder was held in contempt of congress. The CBC is no more concerned about a murdered Border Patrol Agent than they are about controlling an overspending US President. The CBC showed solidarity with Holder, but also said "go to hell" to Brian Terry's parents and those wanting to get to the bottom of DOJ gun running operation in Mexico.

      The CBC now has blood on their hands in being complicit in the DOJ gun running operation in Mexico while attempting to protect the corrupt Attorney General. It is time for full disclosure of the DOJ Mexican gun running operation, and if Holder and Obama are implicated, then send them up.

      I wish I could really say how I feel about Holder and Obama. Both in jail would suit me fine.
