Renaming Evil as Good
I am just a 'regular guy' living in the USA with the same beliefs and aspirations
that my father and grandfather had. They both believed that if you work hard, you
can achieve your goals and they can be business, science, medicine, athletics,
etc. I now have to admit that I question whether those same goals can be achieved
by the next generation. They will be straddled with increased debt, fewer jobs,
increased taxes, increased educational costs, increased energy costs, and much
tighter constraints on home ownership.
Oh, and the government has and will setup many more obstacles until the citizenery
has become a homogeneous, group think herd of sheeple. It used to be that being
a patriot was a good thing, but today, you are an object of suspicion and many times
disdain. Patriotism applies to true love of one's country and a code of conduct
that echoes such love.
With the recent achievements of the White House, it is better to deserve honors
and not have them than to have honors (Nobel Peace Prize) and not deserve them.
There is a lack of honesty and transparancy from the White House. It seems that
almost every statement, they want to convince the masses of something that is
is not true, but certainly will promote their ideology. There is no legacy so
rich as HONESTY! And yet, the government elite will voice everything but truth.
So, what do we as Americans do when the government is ruled by elitists and we as
citizens are only subjects to them? We should and need to continue to
hold our banner high, the banner of freedom and liberty, the banner of truth,
the banner of hope for our future and hope for our children. The USA was founded
by men of good character, they treated others as they wanted to be treated, they
spoke of truth and life and liberty for all. It would be good for all of us to
return to those founding principles of the founding fathers.
Politicians that state that the killing of the most innocent of Americans in the
name of 'CHOICE' is a virtue, homosexuality must be a protected behavior and is
virtuous, public funding (taxes) payments to political allies is good and finally
spending all Americans into oblivian is good if it is politically beneficial, then
it is time to elect officials who will represent and do the work of the people.
The Bible says: "Cursed are those who give the name of good to evil, and the name
of evil to what is good."
The USA is in a time of peril with overwhelming debt and despotic rulers who seek
only their agenda and not what is best for the country and the American People.
The great works of the American People may not be accomplished by strength, but
certainly will be the product of perseverence. Courage is NOT the absence of fear
but it is the ability to carry-on in the presence of fear. We must not fear the
ruling elitists and tyrants.
We must be honest in our communication with others and with ourselves. "Honesty
is the first chapter in the book of wisdom." So says Thomas Jefferson, and so if
honesty was important to Jefferson, then it should be important to all of us. It
is better, rather to fail at trying than to succeed by fraud. So speak the truth!
America needs a NEW HEART and it begins with the American people. How can this be
achieved when we mostly think that the present is all that there is? The words of
an ancient prophet spoke the words of truth when he said: "Widsom begins with the
righteous fear and honor of God." Additionally, the obedience of God's principles
is vital for a people to live with liberty and without fear. On all currancy of
the United States is the motto: "In God We Trust" and it is time for that to
happen with all Americans. Trusting in government is futile, because government
does not change the heart, it only makes us dependent on those who wish to
control us. A change in heart comes from within, and only the Creator God
can do that.
