Tribute to Edward Kelley

We celebrated Dad's 90th Birthday on Sunday, January 31, 2010. It was a wonderful
afternoon with many friends and relatives wishing Dad their best. Dad was a humble
citizen soldier of World War II. He fought for the freedom and liberty of all Americans
in Patton's 3rd Army. He was a wounded warrior and fought in the Battle of the Bulge
and he was part of a forward patrol that helped liberate a slave labor death camp.
He returned home to begin his quiet life as a family man and provider. He and Mom
were married for 66 years and Dad was the father to three children. He is now in
heaven with his youngest, Lori, where they are both in the Creator's loving care.

Dad was a husband, father, grandfather and believer in the one Creator God of the
Universe, our Lord Jesus Christ. Dad's work on earth quietly ended on March 9, 2011
and he is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Dad lived a good life
with no regrets. His time in the U.S. Army and as a NASA master machinist was honored
with a flag that was flown in his honor at NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, CA
for his many years of service to NASA, the U.S. space program and wounded warrior.

We are thankful to God and to our Lord Jesus Christ for His grace and blessing on Dad
and for the many friends and family members he has been blessed with. Dad was a humble
and kind family man who touched the lives of so many in a positive way. Dad will be missed,
but we look forward to seeing him again and eternally enjoy the comfort of the Creator's love.
